Open 12:30-2:30 p.m. Sundays and 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays. New shooters welcome and lessons are available.

The Lycoming Trap Shooters at CSLC has open shooting from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sundays and 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Fee applies.

NRA Basic Handgun shooting courses will be held 6:30-9 p.m. Mondays. Each course will be a minimum of 10 hours. New classes begin every two weeks. For more information, call Raymond George 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 368-1107.

ATA Basket of Apples shoot - Nov. 4. A basket of apples will be awarded to two lewis classes per event; limit one per shooter.

The Fall Youth Trap League shoots at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.

ATA Thanksgiving Turkey shoot - Nov. 17. A turkey will be awarded to the winner of each event; limit one per shooter.

Beginners Firearms Safety Course: Participants will learn how to safely load and unload a firearm, safe clearing procedures, basic pistol shooting skills, and more. One-day classes will be held 5-8 p.m. Nov. 15, 6-9 p.m. Nov. 19 and 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 24. The price has changed; contact the range for information.

Hogan's Alley Shoot: 5 p.m. Nov. 20. This decision-making course is used by the FBI. Targets demonstrate "good guy/bad guy" scenarios. Range lights are off and the targets are set on edge until the range officer turns on spotlights when it is time to engage a target. The target is turned to face the shooter, who must make a quick decision whether to fire.
