David R. Eigenbrod, 51, of Avis, died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. His wife and companion, Wendy Reese Eigenbrod, celebrated 25 years together.
David was born on Nov. 18, 1960, in Jersey Shore and was the son of Clyde and Virginia Nunez Eigenbrod.
He was a 1979 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. He is employed by Jersey Shore Steel. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed his Mustang and modeling railroading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Lucas Fidler; two brothers, Charles Eigenbrod, Jersey Shore and Ken Eigenbrod, Kutztown; four nephews, Steven Eigenbrod, Kevin Eigenbrod, Mathew Eigenbrod, Patrick Eigenbrod; one niece, Katy Eigenbrod.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, with the Rev. David McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
