Torrence R. "Todd" Huling, 87, of Jersey Shore, passed away, Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Jersey Shore Manor Care.
He was born Sept. 15, 1925, in Jersey Shore, the son of Randolph L. and Hattie (Sauer) Huling.
Todd was the husband of the former Frances M. Cass with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Todd retired in 1993 from Alcan Cable after 38 years of service.
Early in life Todd enjoyed bowling, spending time and working around his home. He loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Frances and two daughters, Susan (Steve Moyer) Gardner of Jersey Shore, Deborah K. (Lee) Reynolds of Townville and a son, Todd R. Huling of Abilene, Texas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Karen Hostrander of Florida.
Todd was predeceased by five brothers, Paul, James, Franklin, Walter and William, and also a sister, Betty Jane Hollick.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
Relatives and friends are invited to Todd's Life Celebration 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, with Rev. Jeffrey Howell officiating. A visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
