Robert P. "Rob" Harmon, 63, of Williamsport, died on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at his residence.
Rob was born on Aug. 18, 1949, in Matoka, W.Va., and was the son of the late Oakley P. and Regina P. (Cistola) Harmon. He had graduated from Sophia High School in West Virginia and attended the West Valley Community College in San Jose. Rob had served with the U.S. Army as a PFC from 1968 to 1971. He enjoyed playing the trumpet.
Rob is survived by one brother, Frank Harmon of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one sister, Nora Meadows of Brunswick, Ohio; a special friend, Harriett A. Harvey of Williamsport; and his beloved cat; "Buster." In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Harmon.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport.
