Thomas Frank Montgomery, 54, of 9126 Silverbush Drive, Richmond, Va., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at the Elizabeth Crump Manor Nursing Home in Virginia after a two-year battle with cancer and passed away from complications of his illness.
Born April 8, 1958, in Williamsport, Pa., he was the son of Ernest and Mary Montgomery of 1520 W. Mountain Ave., South Williamsport, Pa.
Tom was a 1976 graduate of Williamsport High School as well as Penn College of Technology. Tom had been employed in the transportation industry for over 20 years as a truck driver. He had a great fondness for photography, the outdoors, nature, and had been an avid hunter and a former member of Barr Hill Hunting Club.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, the former Judy L. Swank, of 16 years, are his stepchildren, Alyssa K. Hronowski of Virginia and Merek W. Hronowski of Williamsport.
Tom was predeceased by his son, Aaron Paul Montgomery of Williamsport.
Tom is survived by three brothers, David E. (Deb), Robert L. (Elizabeth), both of Montoursville, and Stephen J. of Jersey Shore; and three sisters, Susan M. of Williamsport, Cinthia A. (Shawn) Gardner and Amy L. (Shawn) Reis, both of Montoursville.
A memorial service will be held at the Valley Inn, DuBoistown, at 1 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2012.
