David Raymond Eigenbrod

David R. Eigenbrod, 51, of Avis, died on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. His wife and companion, Wendy Fidler Eigenbrod, celebrated 25 years together.

David was born on Nov. 18, 1960, in Jersey Shore, and was the son of the late Clyde and Virginia Nunez Eigenbrod.

He was a 1979 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. He was employed by Jersey Shore Steel. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed his Mustang and model railroading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Lucas Fidler (Blair) of Florida; two brothers, Charles Eigenbrod, Jersey Shore and Ken Eigenbrod, Kutztown; four nephews, Steven, Kevin, Mathew and Patrick; one niece, Katy Eigenbrod; and his beloved dog, Buckey. In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by a half brother, Joseph Lucy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, with the Rev. David McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
