William L. Brungart, 91, formerly of Nisbet, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Loganton, he was the son of the late Clarence and LuLu Mowery Brungart.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and had retired from Bethlehem Steel. Bill enjoyed horses, farming, watching the Phillies and attending family sporting events.
Surviving are his son, Larry and wife Gail Brungart of Nisbet; two grandchildren, Heather (Richard) Campbell of Frederick, Md., and Trevor (Cassandra Thomas) of Wayne, Pa.; and one great-grand-daugh- ter, Karrelle Brungart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Knerr) Brungart, in 2003; three brothers, Harry, Harold and Kermit Brungart; and two sisters, Thelma Cummings and Geraldine Jacobson.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in private at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
