Michael L. Carlisle, 52, of Williamsport, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.
Born Dec. 28, 1959, in Harrisburg, he was a son of Harry B. and Faye M. Shaffer Carlisle.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed camping.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Vera Baysore of Williamsport; a brother, Mark W. Carlisle of Williamsport; a sister, Cynthia (Victor) Fox of Williamsport; stepfather, Robert G. Thomas of Cogan Station; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott A. Carlisle and maternal grandparents, Harris and Roseanna Shaffer.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Jay Jones, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to the Lycoming County United Way, 1 W. Third St., Suite 208, Williamsport, PA 17701.
