Two men were sentenced on sex charges in court Tuesday by Lycoming County Judge Nancy L. Butts.
Sylvester R. Shoemaker, 41, of 101 Boak Ave., Lot 17, Hughesville, was sentenced to two to four years in state prison with three years of state probation on aggravated indecent assault charges.
According to police, Shoemaker provided a 15-year-old girl alcohol and had sex with her on Jan. 2.
Shoemaker pleaded guilty to the charges on July 7. He also is required to register as a lifetime sex offender on the Megan's Law listing.
Butts also sentenced Kerry A. Horn, 31, of 5957 Lycoming Creek Road to five years probation on charges of indecent assault.
Horn admitted to police that during the course of more than 10 years, he had sex with a mentally disabled woman. The incidents began when he and the victim were both teenagers and continued until December 2010, police said.
According to police, the victim did not want to engage in sex with Horn, but he talked her into it or bribed her by buying food.
In addition to probation, Horn also is required to register on the Megan's Law sex offender list for 25 years and serve 100 hours of community service, according to court records.
