Carl L. "Herb" Buck, 81, formerly of the 200 block of Church Street in South Williamsport, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at ManorCare Health Services South.
Herb was born in Muncy on Oct. 20, 1931, a son of Frank and Rosalla Young Buck.
He retired from the former Strick Corp. in Washingtonville.
Herb was a member of Moose Lodge 1396 in Mifflinburg and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
His wife, the former Hazel McAffee, died in 2008, and seven sisters and six brothers also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Lori (Stuart) Greene of Montoursville and Karen (Gene) Banks of Falls Creek, Pa.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, with Pastor Gary Runtas, Chaplin for Southern Care Hospice, officiating.
