Man jailed for minor disturbance

November 8, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

A Lewis Township man faces city police charges following a minor disturbance at Seventh and Park avenues about 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Responding to reports of two to three people cutting between yards, officers arrested Tyler Lee Greene, 21, of 2153 Lower Bodines Road, and charged him with resisting arrest, furnishing alcohol to an underage person and public drunkenness.

Police allege Greene gave 19-year-old Timothy Reichenbach three mixed drinks at an undisclosed location. Greene was taken to police headquarters, but he could not be processed because he was combative, according to an affidavit.

Following his arraignment that night before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley, Greene was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $3,500 bail.
