Bozell’s tin ear

November 10, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I enjoy reading a few of your conservative columnists, notably George Will and usually Thomas Sowell and Mona Charen. The others, not so much or at all. I was confused reading L. Brent Bozell's column about Ellen DeGeneres and his response to some lyrics sung about her.

He quoted a few, "You got a wingspan spanning the globe", "You're a wise old owl when the cats meow" and "If this were India, then you'd be a sacred cow.", then asked, "Have you ever read more stupid lyrics?" My question: hasn't he ever listened to America's "Horse With No Name"?
