Library to hold wreath sale
Friends of Montgomery House Warrior Run Area Public Library will be taking orders beginning Monday for holiday wreaths and centerpieces.
Orders will be taken through Dec. 8. Orders placed by Nov. 20 can be picked up Dec. 1 through 12. Order forms are available at the front desk of the library or available by phone at 538-1381 or by emailing harriet@ montgomeryhouselibrary.org.
Women's club plans brunch
MILL HALL - The theme for the Wednesday luncheon of the Lock Haven Christian Women's Club is "Alpaca Your Day With Fun."
The luncheon begins at noon at Aungst's Banquet Facility. Lunch, entertainment and an inspirational speaker will be featured for a fee.
The feature for the day will be "I'll-paca your bags with wool." Jane Korbar, from Patchwork Farm in Selingsgrove, will talk about and display alpaca wool products made from her own Patchwork Farm alpacas. Lynn Talbot, a talented local soloist, will "paca" our day with music.
Betty Blyler, Lewisburg, will "paca" inspiring words into the program. She talks about winning the struggle between the outer and inner image in a constructive way.
