Samuel B. Snell, 17, of 7314 State Route 87, Plunketts Creek Township, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, from a motor vehicle accident along Route 87.
He was born Feb. 24, 1995, in Williamsport, a son of Ronald B. and Loraine L. Weightman Snell.
Samuel was a student at Montoursville High School, where he participated in the school jazz and marching bands, where he played the saxophone. He planned on attending Mansfield University majoring in music education and worked at the Creekside Country Market. Samuel enjoyed all forms of hunting and was very close to his family.

He is survived by his parents of Plunketts Creek Township; paternal grandparents, Burr E. and Artist M. Snell of Williamsport; maternal grandmother, Carolyn L. Weightman of Shunk; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in the Montoursville High School Auditorium, 100 N. Arch St., Montoursville, with Pastor David Hart officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Ellenton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montoursville High School for the band program.
