June McMunn, 94, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Williamsport Hospital.
Born June 5, 1918, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Esther (Klose) Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph J. McMunn on March 26, 2004.
She was a 1936 graduate of the Williamsport High School and attended Dickinson Seminary. June was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport. She was a member of the Woman's Club, Clio Club, and an original member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Alpha Eta Chapter. She retired from the Department of Health, and had previously been employed by the Internal Revenue Service and PA Ordinance Works. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed tennis and collecting antiques.
Surviving are two children, James R. McMunn of Ellicott City, Md. and Anne M. Landon husband Perry of Williamsport, and two granddaughters, Sarah Petcavage of Catasauqua and Kate Petcavage of Hatboro.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions in June's name be made to Scholarships at Lycoming College, (payable to Lycoming College), 700 College Place, Williamsport, PA 17701.
