Announcement has been made of the engagement of Samantha Anne Kantner, Montgomery, and Kevin Andrew Brummert, New Germany.
An April 5, 2014, wedding in State College is being planned.
Kantner is the daughter of Kaydee and Chris Miller, Montgomery, and the late Warren L. Kantner. She graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in the legal environment of business from Penn State University, Smeal College of Business, in 2011. She is employed as marketing coordinator for SupplySource and Energy Controls Group.

Brummert is the son of Joan and Jeff Brummert, Bellefonte. He graduated from Forest Hills High School, Sidman, in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in business with a focus in marketing and management this year. He is employed as an assistant manager for Kohl's Department Store, York.
