James L. Root, 54, of Wellsboro, Pa., died on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. Friends may call on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., Wellsboro, Pa. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey McCleary officiating. Interment will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
