A Hepburn Township man faces charges for allegedly purchasing a bottle of vodka for a 17-year-old girl, according to the state police's Bureau of Liquor Control and Enforcement.
Andrea Ray Berkheiser, 30, of 267 Sawmill Road, purchased the liquor for the teenager at the Wines and Spirits store on Hepburn Street in the city on Sept. 13, police said.
Charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor and corrupting the morals of a minor, Berkheiser failed to appear last week for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Allen P. Page III. A bench warrant for his arrest was expected to be filed.
