Lucille E. Smith, 94, passed away on Nov. 16, 2012, at Sycamore Manor Health Center where she has resided for the past six years.
Born on Dec. 27, 1917, in York County, she was a daughter of the late Acquilla and Maud Drayer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Smith in 1999; three brothers, Paul, Clarence and Kenny Drayer and a sister, Helen Shuler.
Lucille retired from Lycoming County where she worked in the Controller's office. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Lucille enjoyed playing cards with her Card Club, going out to eat with the "Diamond Ladies" after church, going on bus trips and working in her yard.
Surviving are daughters Linda (Dave) Lorson of Williamsport and Patty Snyder of Loyalsock Township; three grandchildren, Christopher Snyder of Williamsport, Brett Snyder of South Williamsport and Lindsay Fox of New Jersey; and three great-grandchildren.
In accordance with Lucille's wishes, there will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lucille's name may be made to Sycamore Manor Health Center, Alzheimer's Unit, 1445 Sycamore Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.
