A Hepburn Street woman has been jailed on charges stemming from a disturbance during which she allegedly pointed a pellet gun at another woman, city police said.
Kateresa D. Blackwell, 41, of 801 Hepburn St., has been charged with felony trespassing, simple assault and disorderly conduct as a result of the Nov. 9 incident at 689 Fourth Ave., the home shared by Nathaniel Hill and Nykia Coleman, police said.
Blackwell was seen climbing through a window when Hill confronted her and told her to get out, police said. Blackwell backed out but tried to enter through the front door until Hill again confronted and stopped her, police said.
Coleman then arrived home, and she and Blackwell started fighting, police said. Blackwell then got a pellet gun from her van, police said, noting the weapon looked like a real gun. Blackwell went onto Coleman's front porch and pointed the gun at Coleman and her two children, police allege.
Following her arraignment hours later before District Judge Allen P. Page III, Blackwell was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail.
