Sandra Kaye Gunther, 68, of 335 Winthrop St., South Williamsport, Pa., passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.
Sandra was born at Wellsboro, Pa., on Dec. 31, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Hilbolt) Mattison.
Sandra was married to Howard Jack Gunther on Nov. 6, 1964. Together they shared 48 years of marriage.
Sandra worked as a waitress for the former Family Affair restaurant in Montoursville.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Howard Gunther of South Williamsport; two daughters, Tammy (Tom) Hamilton of Morris, Pa., and Kim (John) Jones of Montgomery; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Sandra is also survived by a sister, Donna (Pete) Muller of Lee, Fla.; and a brother, Llewlyn Mattison of Horseheads, N.Y.
Funeral services and visitation for Sandra Kaye Gunther will be private at the family's request. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery, Pa.
