Nancy E. Ploppert, 74, of 505 Center St., Williamsport, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Reading, Pa., on March 15, 1938, the daughter of Frank and Marie Delay Galdun.
She was an active volunteer at the Williamsport Hospital for many years.
Nancy is survived by her son, Lamar D. Ploppert of Williamsport; her grandson, Dylan Ploppert; four cousins, Barbara Lubas, Christine DiMaria, Michael Gaulden and William Gaulden.
A memorial service will be held at the Williamsport Assembly of God on the corner of Sheridan and Sherman streets on Monday, Nov. 26, at 6 pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
