I find the article about pitbulls to be offensive and cruel to the breed. That dog that bit that mail lady was raised to be that way, yes, it is sad that the lady was bit and is now scared for life, but that dog was not born to do that, it was raised to be that way. As an owner of a pitbull and a previous owner of rottwielers, I find it offensive that people have such a bad notion about the breeds.
Pitbulls are the most special breed because it depends on the way they are raised and not the way they were born. History shows that pitbulls were not breed to be fighting dogs, they were breed as babysitters and hunters. I know hunters sounds bad but they accompanied humans to help feed there families. If you don't believe me, go online and look up the history of pitbull breeds. Do not blame the dogs for the fault of their owners. They were raised that way. Most pitbulls would not hurt a fly. I also have two labs along with my pitbull and I see them biting someone before I ever see my pitbull.
