Specialist joins city Microtone office

Microtone Hearing Instruments, of Williamsport, recently announced the addition of Jennifer Yerke, hearing instrument specialist, to its team.

Yerke hails from the northeast region where she worked as an audiology technician and hearing instrument specialist for more than eight years with one of the most innovative, interactive clinics in northeast Pennsylvania. She brings a wealth of knowledge about leading edge technology and prowess of the most advanced hearing instruments to Microtone's growing team and the region at large.

She is accepting appointments for patients and may be reached at 320-2871.

Jersey Shore Hospital congratulates 'Rocker of the Month'

Jersey Shore Hospital recently congratulated Molly Hollick, of the Nutrition and Dining Services Department, for being selected as the hospital's "Rocker of the Month" for October.

The Rocker of the Month award is an employee-of-the-month award. The acronym "rocker" stands for "respecting our customers kindly and employees regularly."

Hollick was selected for her ability to bring catering to a whole new level over her past year with Jersey Shore Hospital.

"Molly's attention to detail and creative new menu selections have really given staff and patients something to look forward to and enjoy," a co-worker said. "When catering is needed for events or meetings, Molly always provides excellent suggestions while still remaining cost-conscious."

Hollick also was praised for being a team player and for her skillful nature in mentoring and motivating staff.

Changes occur at Susquehanna Health Family Medicine

Susquehanna Health Family Medicine at Grampian Boulevard relocated to the Divine Providence Hospital campus in the Wenner Building, 1705 Warren Ave., Suite 303, on Oct. 1.

In addition to a new location, Drs. Todd Fausnaught, Guy Giordano, Sarah Kent and certified nurse practioneer Lindsey Moyer welcome two new doctors to the practice - Dr. Rachel Hogg and Dr. Kimberly Jones.

The practice, renamed Susquehanna Health Family Medicine at Warren Avenue, is accepting new patients of all ages and may be reached at 326-8500.
