Robert R. Britton, 66, of Laurel, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his home.
Born in Williamsport on June 23, 1946, he is the son of the late George Britton and Regina Gibler Britton Gibson.
He drove a truck for many years and volunteered as a fireman and also on the ambulance when he lived in Pennsylvania. He also was trained in underwater rescue.
He is survived by five brothers, Dean and Ronnie Britton, Williamsport; Dale Britton, Tampa, Fla.; and Mark and Gary Gibson, Williamsport.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Montoursville Cemetery.
