HARTLEY - A Millmont woman lost her life following a two-vehicle crash, which took place at about 1 p.m. on Friday along Route 192, just east of R. B. Winter State Park in Hartley Township.
Dora L. Eichenlaub, 52, of Millmont, was traveling west along Route 192, just east of the state park in Hartley Township, when she lost control of her vehicle.
The vehicle headed into the path of a tractor trailer, driven by Gary S. Hendricks, 50, of Telford, according to reports.
The pair collided in the eastbound lane of Route 192. The impact disabled both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.
Eichenlaub was pronounced dead at the scene by Union County Coroner Wanda Walters.
Hendricks did not suffer any injuries, according to reports.
State police were assisted at the scene by members of the Mifflinburg Fire Co., Mifflinburg EMS, Evangelical Community Hospital Paramedics, Hartley Township Police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
