On Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, Robert E. Stroble, Ph.D., former Maryland State Senator (1970-82) and Baltimore County Public School Principal, died on what would have been his 47th wedding anniversary, Thanksgiving Day, after a long battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The Timonium, Md., resident was 72. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Mullen) Stroble; devoted father of Shannan C. Stroble, Timothy S. Stroble and Ryan M. Stroble; brother of Butch Stroble and Donna Goodspeed. Also survived by six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Church of the Nativity, 20 East Ridgley Road in Timonium, Md., beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a reception for close family and friends at Liberatore's in Timonium at 9515 Deereco Road.
