Paul J. Zell Sr., 90, of Woolrich, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Lock Haven, the son of Charles and Violet (Rossman) Zell.
Paul was married to the former Belva M. Bowman; they celebrated 69 years of marriage together.

He worked for Hammermill Paper Co. for 35 years, Pennsylvania College of Technology as a plumbing instructor for 12 years and was employed as a courier for Northern Central Bank and M&T Bank.
Paul served in the Navy during World War II; he was stationed in the Northern Atlantic and Pacific.
He was a member of the Jersey Shore Elks for 42 years.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Paul J. (Judy) Zell Jr. and Gary (Roxane) Zell of Atwood Lake, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
