James "Jim" Robert Falk, 74, of Richey, Mont., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the Sidney Health Center in Sidney. Services will be held at a later date. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Jim was born on March 3, 1938, in Williamsport, Pa., the son of Edward Joseph and Ellen Goldy (Hepburn) Falk. He was raised and educated in the Williamsport area where he graduated from Williamsport High School with the class of 1956. Following graduation, he married Shirley Marie Stahl on May 5, 1956, in Montoursville, Pa. As a young couple, Jim and Shirley made Pennsylvania their home.
Jim worked for Sylvania before becoming employed by Litton Industries where he became a supervisor of the Tube Division. He worked in various areas before moving to the Kalispell, Mont., area where he remained for ten years before moving to Richey in the early 1990s.

Jim thoroughly enjoyed trapshooting, going bird hunting with his dogs and shot gunning. He was a member of the Circle Trap Club in Circle, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ellen Falk and one sister, Gladys Waltz.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Falk of Richey; four sons, Jeffery (Mary Beth) Falk of York, Pa., Edward W. Falk of Lititz, Pa., Timothy J. Falk of York and Paul (Crystal) Falk of Hughesville, Pa.; five daughters, Lori (Billy) Tomlinson of Saratoga, Texas, Pamela (Allan) Singer of Toms River, N.J., Barbara (Robert) Masucci of Ambler, Pa., Susan (Michael) Bigger of Unityville, Pa., and Sandra Falk of Muncy, Pa.; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
