On the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, Catherine B. (Arbogast) Johnson of Williamsport passed away quietly at ManorCare North. She was 96 years of age.
Born in Canton on April 4, 1916, she was the daughter of Emanuel and Edna Arbogast.
Surviving is her son, James (Anna Marie) Johnson; sister, Bessie (Ed) Hoffa; granddaughters, Cathy McCarty, Cindy Wheeler, Carol Deitrick, Chris Lee and Connie Zigman; grandsons, Rick Johnson and Jamie Johnson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Alvin Johnson; daughter, Barbara Mix; great-granddaughter, Trish Marie Wheeler; sister, Viola Conn; and brothers, Harry, Clifford and Nathan Arbogast.
The viewing is 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Morse & Kleese, 94 N. Center St., Canton. Service is at 11 a.m. Interment in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
