Dinner theatre tonight
"A Christmas Carol" will be performed as part of a dinner (6 p.m.) and theatre event (7 p.m.) at St. Mark's Fellowship Hall, 142 Market St. (east entrance). Call 323-4619 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for tickets. Donations accepted at the door to benefit the United Churches Campus Ministry.
First United Methodist Church, 604 Market St., will hold a special Christmas concert "Christmas Eve in My Home Town" featuring the West Branch Barbershop Chorus at 7 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit the church and chorus.
DuBoistown United Methodist Church, 133 Summer St., will present a Christmas program featuring hand-bell performer Charles Getchell at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served afterward.
Parent's night out
WATSONTOWN - Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10275 Route 44 between McEwensville and Turbotville, will hold parent's night out from 6-9 p.m. There will be movies, games, crafts and stories read. Snacks will be provided. If children need their evening meal, please provide a bag lunch. There will be a short emergency information card to fill out. If a child has dietary or medical restrictions, please provide the necessary supplies and instructions. Children will need to be picked up by 9.
Street drugs 101
WOOLRICH - The Woolrich Community United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., will host "Street Drugs, Learn the Basics," a program provided by Cross Roads Counseling, from 7-8 p.m. in the S. E. Rich Room. The public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.

MONTGOMERY - New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road, will present its outdoor Christmas drive-through from 7-9 p.m. both nights. Those attending will be told the Christmas story as they move from scene to scene without leaving their cars. Each attendee also will receive a small gift at the end of their journey. Adult Christmas cantata
The adult choir at Community Baptist Church, 1853 Route 87, will present its Christmas cantata "Hope of the Broken World" at 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
AVIS - Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave. will hold a Christmas concert at 6:45 p.m. featuring Conrad Schlesinger on the organ and piano with Kay Fisher as choir director. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
