Mr. and Mrs. G. William Povish, Montoursville, will observe their 65th wedding anniversary Dec. 6, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. L. Elbert Wilson at Newberry Methodist Church.
They are members of Picture Rocks United Methodist Church, where Mr. Povish is a member of the choir and Mrs. Povish is the pianist.

Mrs. Povish, the former Mary Lee Rauch, is a native of Clearfield. She is the daughter of the late Alice and Wilbur Rauch. She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1944.
Mr. Povish, a native of Shamokin, is the son of the late Mary Povish (Mutschler) and Frank Povish. He attended Shamokin Elementary School and Williamsport Middle School. He was employed for 30 years at various clothing manufacturers in the area for 30 years and retired in 1992 from Country Maid in Berwick, Danville and Shamokin Dam as head mechanic. He also was employed by Fairfield Auto Group, Montoursville, as a driver.
They are the parents of a daughter, Karen, Carlisle.
