The Library Elf is a web-based and email tool for library users.
Think of it as a personal assistant, whose task is to help with avoid overdues with email and text alerts, check multiple library cards at once, and remind you of when holds are available.
How does Library Elf work? Email and-or RSS alerts are sent to you before the items are due, cellphone text message alerts are delivered two days before an item is due, and you can check all accounts at once through your Internet browser.
Library Elf is designed with the busy or avid library user in mind.
It is ideal for families with multiple library cards.
It offers you one location to gather everyone's account information.
To subscribe, visit the Lycoming County Library System's website at www.lycolibrary.org or your local library's website. Click on Library Elf.
You will need a valid email address and your library card to register.
Once registered, you can relax knowing that the Library Elf is here to help you.
This service is free to all Lycoming County residents. As a Lycoming County Library System user, you have an automatic free Premium Subscription.
