To those who say that people claiming that President Obama is a Socialist are "right wing lunatics"; you might want to read an op-ed in the Russian newspaper, Pravda. The paper referred to Obama as a Communist, and who would know more about Communism than the former Soviet Union newspaper of record. But, don't take my word for it; check it out for yourself. The op-ed title was "Obama's Soviet Mistake"
For those who don't want to take the time to look it up, here is a quote from the piece, "He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. Obama's fools and Stalin's fools share the same drink of illusion."
Hard words, but words I have heard many times from people I know who left the Soviet Union to escape Communism. I encourage you to read the entire article because it has a lot of information about the path we are on and how even Vladimir Putin has warned against it.
If you have been denying the radical leanings of our President and claiming that it is all Republican lies, please take note. Putin and the people at Pravda are not Republicans. We ignore these warnings at our own peril.
