Elizabeth G. Houser, 86, of 1320 Broad St., Montoursville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 28, 1926, in Binghamton, N.Y., a daughter of John Birchman and Carolyn L. Houck Flynn.
Elizabeth had been a LPN and was part of the visiting nurses for Leader Nursing Home and Sycamore Manor. She displayed spinning wheel and did loom demonstrations for local events.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, John Flynn.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, William M., with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage; five children, Barbara L. Peko of Richmond, Va., Carol E. (Daniel) Faber of Winchester, Va., George P. (Judith) Bennett of Stephenson, Va., Laurel A. (Stephen) Hager of Wentzville, Mo., and Joseph P. (Kathy) Bennett of Dover, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Lisa A. (Rob) Vance of Yardley, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Hughesville Baptist, 37 N. Third St., Hughesville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
