Iva Richards, 93, Bradenton, Fla., died Friday morning at the Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton. She was the widow Ralph "Russ" Richard, who died in 2004; the couple were married for 64 years.
She was the daughter of the late Maurice and Lydia Davis Thompson. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where she worked in the church's thrift store. Prior to moving to Florida in 1962, she was a member of the former Schultzville United Methodist Church where she served as the organist for many years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Iva Heise and her husband Paul of Hughesville, Pa., and Carolyn Green of Bradenton, Fla.; five grandchildren including, Lynnda Steimling and Donna Stackhouse, both of Hughesville, and Sandra Moreland of Cincinnati, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren.
