Louise F. Hively passed away on Nov. 28, 2012, in Sun City, Ariz. She was the daughter of the late Dr. J Paul H. and Mildred F. English Hively.
She was born in Williamsport, Pa., in 1937. Miss Hively taught Spanish in the Abington School District for 30 years. She also wrote Spanish workbooks which supplemented textbooks. Louise was a member of the Huguenot Society, DAR, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Peoria, Ariz. In her retirement, she helped make children's clothing for El Centro Adelande in Surprise, Ariz., and was an avid traveler. She loved traveling on cruise ships, and she visited over 125 countries in her lifetime.
Louise is survived by her sister, Joan and four nephews. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Peoria, Ariz., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Pat Young officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
