Myself along with many other families had an enjoyable evening out watching the Christmas parade. It was very well put together and very Christmasy until - when the parade was over and I drove through the upper part of town.
It was sad to see the trash that was left behind. Come on people of Williamsport. Is that how you show your "appreciation." I mean you hand out bags for your kids for them to scarf up all the candy which is good, why can't you have a bag for yourself to put your trash in and throw it away in the designated containers or take it home and throw it away yourself? Would that be sooo hard to do? Wouldn't it be cool for your new year's resolution on the next annual parade to pick up after yourself? You might feel good about yourself!
My hat is off to the city clean up crew. You did a great job!
