The disturbed

December 7, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

The right is disturbed by the outcome of the election. They are upset that President Obama won 100% of certain districts in the Philly area and in multiple districts in Ohio. This implies the president received all the votes in those districts that no other candidate was voted for. What is accurate is that the amount of votes other candidates received in those districts amounted to less than 1 percent. Who drew up those districts in the first place? I agree the physical ouster of poll watchers is wrong and should be strongly dealt with.

Now comes the accusation Santa Obama won because of the gifts he hands out. Just what does the right think tax cuts are, rights? What do they think tax breaks are? What do they think spending cuts are? When did we become the land of inequality and unfairness? When did community become communism? Why is it the right strongly believes in bringing democracy to other countries and then turns around and derides the democratic process in our country because the election did not transpire into their favor? When did the defunct news source Pravda become a major source of truth for conservatives?

Finally, political cartoons have always depicted political figures harshly and from both parties. They are not more harsh and despicable you are just more sensitive to them when it is your party.
