Lilah M. Eck, 94, formerly of Route 654 Highway, Williamsport (Bastress), passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Rose View Manor in Williamsport.
She was born in Howard, Sept. 22, 1918, a daughter of John and Margaret Delaney Dullen. She was married to Pheras M. Eck who passed on Nov. 1, 1999. She and her husband operated the Nippenose Tavern in Bastress during the 1970s. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed bingo, needlework, gardening and visiting Atlantic City. She was an avid reader.
Lilah's survivors include two daughters, Donna (James) Gamble and Carol (Scott) Masteller, all of Bastress; two sons, Kenneth (Bonnie) Eck of Montoursville and John (Claudia) Eck of Cogan Station; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchilren; one brother, Donald (Blanche) Dullen of Howard; two sisters, Florence Piccolo of Williamsport and Miss Maxine Dullen of Lock Haven. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marvin and Jack Dullen, Elizabeth Laubach, Mary Mann, Verna Butler and Gloria Vilello.

Lilah's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 5973 Jack's Hollow Road, Williamsport, PA 17701, by her priest, Rev. Bert Kozen. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
