Frances J. Vough

Frances J. Vough, 91, of Sayre, Pa., formerly of Dushore, Pa., passed away on Dec. 7, 2012, at Robert Packer Hospital following a period of declining health.

She was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Liberty, Pa., the daughter of the late Herbert and Josephine Wiseski Werline.

Frances was an active member of St. Paul's Church in Overton, Pa. She was very interested in crafts and belonged to a group that made quilts for those in need. She worked alongside her husband, David, on the Vough Family Potato Farm in Forks Township.

She is predeceased by her first husband, Floyd Reed; second husband, David Vough; sister, Greta Lamonski; and stepdaughters, Evely Higley and Jeanette Rohe.

Frances is survived by her son, Robert Reed of Sayre, Pa.; stepsons, Harvey Vough of Forks Township and Victor (Donna) Vough of Athens, Pa.; numerous stepgrandchildren; brother, Stanley Werline of Crane, Texas; sisters, Margaret Roskowski of Williamsport, Pa., and Anna Trip of Williamsport, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Church, Overton Road, Overton, Pa. Funeral Services will follow at the church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Dyer officiating.

Burial will be in East Forks Union Cemetery.
