Verna Mary Crouse, 83, of 2487 Jacks Hollow Road, South Williamsport, Pa., passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012.
Verna was born in Williamsport, Pa., on Aug. 8, 1929. She was the daughter of Edwin and Mary (Bauer) Weikert.
Verna loved yard sales, rummage sales and flea markets. Verna was also a fantastic cook. She was a devoted and loving mother and she was a kind, generous and jovial person.
Surviving are her son, James Edwin Crouse, of Muncy; a daughter, Elaine Mary Crouse, of Muncy; and a son, Robert John (Joan) Crouse, of Ivyland, Pa. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Jenna M. Crouse and Sara L. Crouse, both of Ivyland, Pa.
Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Crouse; her late parents; and a grandson, Brandon Robert Crouse.
Friends and family will be received for a memorial service in the memory of Verna Mary Crouse on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, Pa. Interment and graveside services will immediately follow at the Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
