Lillian I. Watkins, 85, of Little Marsh, passed away on Dec. 10, 2012, at Soldier and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Vernard E. Watkins, who preceded her April 25, 2011. Lillian was born May 27, 1927, in Westfield, the daughter of the late Michael and Magdalena Tannler Brugger.
She was a former LPN at SSMH. In addition, Lillian and her husband owned a dairy farm for many years in Little Marsh, Pa.
She was a member of Little Marsh United Methodist Church where she was an organist for 50 years. She also was a 50-year member of the Grange.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda Lewis, Elmira, N.Y.; son, Wayne Watkins, Elmira, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Vivian Watkins, Little Marsh; four grandchildren, David and Jacob Steinfelt, Matthew Watkins, Elizabeth Chilson; seven great-grandchildren, Abram and Graham Steinfelt, Brent and Ashlynn Watkins, Alexis, Ethan and Evan Chilson; brother and sister-in-law, Ted (Betty) Brugger, Turlock, Calif. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Albert, Walter, Carl, Arnold, Frank and Fred Brugger; three sisters, Elsie Cobb, Emma Mirto and Evelyn Dawson; her son-in-law, Lee Lewis.
Friends and family are invited to Lillian's Life Celebration on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901. Funeral to follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jay Morris officiating. Burial in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, Pa.
