In real trouble

December 16, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Our country is in real trouble now we seem to have moved from the slippery slop to a death spiral. History is the teacher if you learn from it and pay attention, we haven't. The Bible says that people will be lover of the created, and not the creator. We voted to go back into slavery after only over 200 years of freedom; we were the model for freedom around the world, but we are moving towards becoming a third world country at a rapid rate. There is a lot of blame to go around.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he said that he sent his daughter to college and went in debt for $350,000 on an education. Now she lives at home with her husband who is also in debt and can't find a job. The colleges have educated our children to believe you can't make it without their education, and they have become the God's of their future.

They know that if you tell a lie often enough that people want to believe, and tell it often enough they will believe it and they did. Our government has done likewise; you can't make it without their help. What happened to the American people who crossed this country in covered wagons and faced Indian attacks, wild animal attacks, the weather, lack of food and water, they didn't have FEMA, I don't know how they made it.

Interestingly enough, in Long Island some people volunteered to help an old couple who lost their home because of the storm, these volunteers rebuilt their house and the material was donated. People helping each other, but that story of what was happening in Long Island was over shadowed by another story of a ball player killing his self and his girlfriend.

And yet some liberal advocates are calling for the removal of the 2nd amendment. They say that if he didn't have a gun they would still be alive today. If somebody didn't have access to a knife O. J.'s wife and friend would be alive today. How far do we have to go before we wake up to the truth!
