Fort Hood

December 16, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I read in the news recently that the military is trying to bring Maj. Hasan to trial. But, there seems to be a problem with the beard he has grown. Now, most of us have heard that the Major, allegedly, shot up a number of Army infantry when the military tried to send him overseas. What's more, now the military wants to shave his beard off and violate his religious rights. Apparently, this is the reason that he has not been brought to trial.

What about the families of the victims? What about the families of the victims of the Benghazi killings. Nothing worth mentioning has been done to bring the killers of Libya to justice. It's been over three months since the terror attack and it's all but forgotten. And all this delay at Ft. Hood because of a beard? Our judicial system may be the best in the world, but some of the persons in it are making very questionable decisions.
