For more than 35 years I have been associated with the Center in one way or another. I knew and respected both Henry and P.D. Mitchell as they tried to make their contributions to the community.
As one who had a long relation with its leaders and programs, I want to thank Trinity Episcopal Church and its members for their understanding of the importance of the moment and mission that is now in jeopardy.
Hopefully, this will be seen as a temporary interruption in delivery of services and the opportunity to make meaningful adjustments at the agency.
The help offered by Trinity is a glowing example of the kind of support and gesture of good will needed to keep this from becoming a permanent loss on many levels.
