Dorothy E. Rook, 94, of Trout Run, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at her home.
Born Jan. 6, 1918, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Blanchard and Nancy (Cowher) Fogle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard A. Rook on Jan. 6, 2000, a son Richard E. Rook, and a sister Arlene Kelly.
Dorothy was a homemaker and an avid bingo player.
Surviving are two sons, Dalton R. "Spike" Rook and wife Judi of Cogan Station and Jack G. Rook and wife Candace of Williamsport; daughter, Nancy Holland and husband David of Trout Run; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beech Valley Cemetery, Trout Run, Gamble Township.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Dorothy's name be made to Susquehanna Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
