Betty R. Laurenson, 82, of Elmira Heights, N.Y., went to be with her husband, Robert E. Laurenson on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012. She was born on April 3, 1930, in Fox Township, Sullivan County, Pa.
Betty was predeceased by her daughter, Diana L. Laurenson. She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Laurenson II of Coal Township, Pa. and Ronald (Carol) Norton of Hughesville, Pa.; daughters, Pamela (James) Kuhn of Elmira Heights and Linda (Steve) Platt of Montoursville, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed by her canine companion "Marley."
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home, 1004 Lake St. Elmira, N.Y. Funeral services will follow there at 7 pm.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, December 18 at noon in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville, Pa.
