Kathleen M. Ward, 83, formerly of South Williamsport, passed away Monday Dec. 10, 2012, in Clermont, Fla.
She was born May 27, 1929, in Williamsport, the daughter of Elmer Rantz and Erma Alberta (Sholder) Pryor.
Kathleen was the wife of the late Clarence Eugene Ward with whom she shared 27 years prior to his passing in 1985.
She retired in the late 80's as a seamstress.
Kathleen enjoyed gardening and reading.
She is survived by a stepson, Samuel Eugene Ward; two grandchildren, Robert Fryling Ward of Williamsport and Kim Elizabeth Rios of Deltona, Fla.; brother, James Lamont Pryor of Cogan Station; a sister, Janet Louise Pryor of Clermont; beloved nephew and caregiver, Darrill Jason Pryor and a multitude of loving and dear great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by a brother, Robert Elwood Pryor and a sister, Cecilia Arlene Mundell.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Montgomery with Rev. Jerry Fourroux officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests that contributions can be made to the Mike Conley Hospice House, 2100 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont, FL 34711.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
