Earl C. "Dick" Williams, of Williamsport, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.
He was born May 29, 1927, and was the son of the late Thomas D. and Ethel (Gilbert) Williams.
Earl served in the U.S. Army, and he married the former Elizabeth I. "Betsy" (Wagoner), Aug. 29, 1959, in which they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

He enjoyed restoring old broncos, hunting and was a member of the Red Run Rod and Gun club. He was also an avid sports fan in which he liked watching NASCAR racing, the Phillies and Penn State football.
In addition to his wife Betsy, Earl is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cynthia A. and John H. Barrett of Lock Haven, Donna L. Weinhardt of Williamsport and Pamela M. and Joseph Campana of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Robin and Michael Matthew of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister, Maxine Share of N.Y.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Earl was preceded in death by one son, Michael Williams and one sister, Shirley Tagliaboski.
A gathering of family and friends will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at the family's residence, 1630 Log Run Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. All other services will be held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, one may send donations to The Gatehouse, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
